Our Mission
At Global Cancer Trust, we believe in prospective and distinction of each and every life, with the help of positive, liable and self-awareness approach to make a Cancer free world. We aim to work towards a tobacco free society and spread awareness among the masses about the ill effects of tobacco’s consumption. Moreover, we aim to break several myths surrounding cancer and ensure that people realize that cancer CAN be cured if detected early .
We plan to achieve these aims by organizing awareness seminars aided by audio visual presentations at various schools, colleges, government institutions and various other communities and organizations.
With regards to the youth, we aim to dissuade students and youth from tobacco consumption of any form through regular events and seminars in their schools, colleges and organizations which would be conducted by Scouts of GCT, the youth wing of GCT aimed at creating a ‘tobacco free workforce. We also aim to spread the message of a tobacco free society by conducting similar awareness activities for various companies in collaboration with their CSR
Our Vision
We want to inculcate the right habit of regular Cancer checkup and precautionary measures through constant awareness program and right education to eradicate Cancer from our society. We envision towards a perfectly healthy society, devoid of any non-communicable diseases (cancer, diabetes, cardiac diseases etc.) and free from substance abuse of any form.
We envision towards a society wherein the entire female population has the knowledge and the means to detect breast and cervical cancer at the earliest stage possible for cancer is curable if detected early.
We envision towards a society wherein every youth is healthy and condemns usage of tobacco in any form. Scouts of GCT are the youth wing of the organization which aims to dissuade other youth from tobacco consumption through various events in their schools, colleges and companies.
We envision towards a society wherein every adult shuns consumption of tobacco of any form and encourage others to do the same.
